Audra RobersonPastor/Founder Nelson E. Roberson Jr.

Elder Nelson E. Roberson Jr. was born May 26, 1970 to Nelson E. and Patricia Roberson SR. of Cleveland Ohio. He is the oldest of seven children. He is a loving father of six children. He is a devoted husband and faithful to the things of God. He shares in ministry with his beautiful wife Audra Roberson, as Founder and Pastor. Nelson was raised and baptized at Lane Metropolitan CME Church in Cleveland Ohio under the leadership of Dr. Isaiah Seppio. He is a dynamic teacher and preacher. On March 8, 1997, at the age of 27, Nelson accepted his call into the ministry and preached his first sermon “Protecting Your Anointing” at Perfecting Ministries Church under the leadership of Bishop Greg Allen Dorsey.

He was license and ordained an Elder September 20, 1998 by Pastor Emma Holloway, of House of Prayer Ministries in Little Rock Arkansas. He has served as Assistant Pastor of the Guiding Light Church of God In Christ for two years as well as Youth Director of Greater Faith Tabernacle for a short tenure. In June of 2001, God told Pastor Roberson and his wife to come out of the religious organization and man-made tradition so that He could work signs, wonder and miracles through their ministry.

Elder Roberson has a desire to see all people come to the Lord; however, his heart goes out to those that are in prison and jail, those that are homeless, and those that are addicted to drug, alcohol, and sex. Pastor Roberson knows first hand what its like to go to prison and being homeless and even being addicted to pornography because he’s been there. Although he never was addicted to drugs and Alcohol, he has seen the effects that it has on people and families. He has seen his own family struggle with crack addiction and alcoholism. It is his heart desire that Sacred Vessels Church of Deliverance be a city of refuge to those that are sick, hurting and broken.

Elder Roberson is currently pursuing a Bachelor degree in Public Administration from Harding University and also planning to attend Truth Bible College and Seminary in Jacksonville, Florida where he will be pursuing a Degree in Biblical Studies and Theology. Pastor Roberson has been named and featured in the 2000-2001 edition of Who’s Who of in Management.
